Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Mercury Edutech Academy, we are committed to delivering high-quality education and ensuring that every learner receives the best possible experience through our training programs.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds or cancellations may be requested or processed for our courses and related services.

1. General Policy

By enrolling in any of our courses (online, classroom, or blended learning), you agree to the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Please read these terms carefully before making any payment.

2. Course Enrollment and Payment

  • Enrollment in any course becomes effective only after full payment of the applicable course fees.
  • All fees paid to Mercury Edutech Academy are considered final and non-transferable.
  • Course fees are quoted in INR (₹) unless otherwise specified and are subject to change without prior notice.

3. Refund Policy

Since course access, materials, and resources are shared immediately upon enrollment, we generally do not offer refunds once payment is completed.

However, exceptions may be made under the following conditions:

3.1 Full Refunds

A full refund will be issued only if:

  • The course is cancelled by Mercury Edutech Academy before commencement.
  • The batch or session is postponed by more than 30 days, and the student opts not to continue.
  • The student’s payment was made in error (duplicate payment), and verified proof is provided.

3.2 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds (up to 50%) may be considered only if:

  • A written request is made within 3 working days of enrollment.
  • The learner has not accessed or downloaded any course materials or attended any sessions.

Refunds, where approved, will be processed within 10–15 working days through the original mode of payment.

4. No Refund Policy

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • If the learner has already attended classes (online or offline).
  • If course materials, videos, or downloads have been accessed.
  • If the learner discontinues the course midway for personal or professional reasons.
  • If the learner fails to meet course participation or attendance requirements.
  • If a learner violates the Code of Conduct or Terms & Conditions of Mercury Edutech Academy.

5. Course Cancellation by the Academy

Mercury Edutech Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or merge batches due to administrative, technical, or operational reasons.

In such cases, affected learners may:

  • Choose to join the next available batch, or
  • Request a full refund within 7 days of notification.

6. Transfer or Substitution Policy

  • Enrollment is non-transferable to another individual or institution.
  • However, learners may request to shift their batch to another date, subject to availability and management approval.

Batch transfer requests must be made in writing at least 7 days before the scheduled start date.

7. Mode of Refund

  • All approved refunds will be processed to the original source of payment (bank transfer, UPI, or card).
  • Refunds will not be made in cash under any circumstances.
  • Transaction or gateway charges, if any, will be deducted from the refund amount.

8. Cancellation by the Learner

To cancel your enrollment:

  1. Submit a written request to [accounts@mercuryedutechacademy.com] with your name, course name, payment details, and reason for cancellation.
  2. The support team will acknowledge your request within 3 working days and process it as per eligibility.

9. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 working days from the date of confirmation.

Delays, if any, may occur due to bank processing timelines or third-party payment gateway policies.

10. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes regarding refunds or cancellations:

  • Mercury Edutech Academy’s decision shall be final and binding.
  • Any unresolved matters shall be governed by the laws of India and fall under the jurisdiction of Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu.
